Milestone Systems assembled a dedicated team of internal and external experts to develop a new platform for their partner program. This platform was designed as a hub where Milestone’s partners and external stakeholders could connect and conduct business. The goal was to enable companies within the video surveillance industry to create product pages and company profiles, facilitating an ecosystem for mutual trading and collaboration.

Defining the partners’ needs and making the platform appealing and valuable to potential clients was a significant undertaking. Once everything was mapped out and tested, the challenge became turning these plans into a fully realized digital product. The UX and UI design teams which I was part of, collaborated intensively for months, and in 2022, the Milestone Marketplace was launched. It was an incredibly rewarding process where creativity and hard data had to come together seamlessly.

Today, the UX and UI teams have gained invaluable insights into creating a digital product from scratch for a highly complex software industry. We now carry an archive of do’s and don’ts that will guide us throughout our careers.
